What a fantastic turnout for the annual Paul J. Sciullo Memorial Alumni Game in honor and memory of Paul, a former Vikings varsity captain and Pittsburgh Police officer who was tragically killed in the line of duty in 2009.
Alumni from as far back as the 80s, along with brand new grads, gathered at the Armory to lace up their skates, honor Paul's memory, and enjoy the game of hockey together once more as Vikings. It was an unforgettable night of camaraderie and remembrance.
We were so grateful to have Paul's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sciullo, along with many other friends and family, join us to celebrate Paul's legacy and the spirit of community.
In addition, the club sold commemorative t-shirts with all proceeds benefiting the Sciullo Scholarship Fund at Central Catholic High School.
A huge thank you to the Pittsburgh Icemen for playing against our alumni in Paul's honor and to the Pittsburgh Penguins for sponsoring this event and making it all possible.
