Vikings Varsity Starts Strong
Big Win Against Bethel Park
The Central Catholic Vikings varsity team opened the 2024-2025 regular season in strong fashion at home against the Bethel Park Hawks at Alpha Ice Complex in Harmarville, PA Thursday night.
Goaltender Ben Balla made 24 saves to secure the victory. Judah Brophy opened the scoring drive for the Vikes towards the end of the 1st period. Midway through the 2nd, freshman Chris Sargo netted another one followed by another score at the beginning of the 3rd. The Vikes kept up their domination in the 3rd period netting three more from Strobel, Philip, and another one from Brophy. The final score Vikings 6 Hawks 1.
